Festivalio pristatymas.
Lietuvos spaudos fotografų klubas pristato visuomenei naują projektą – tarptautinį fotografijų festivalį netradicinėse erdvėse – „Vilniaus fotografijos ratas“.
Šis festivalis atskleidžia spaudos fotografijos sugebėjimą gyventi, kurti ir perteikti mintis, jausmus, gyvenimus ir įvykius. Festivaliu norime atskleisti, jog fotografijos pasakojimai gali gyventi ir vieni, be juos palydinčių komentarų ar tekstų, bei būti daug svaresni, jausmingesni ir tikrąjį gyvenimą perteikiantys geriau nei išsakytas žodis. Spaudos fotografija gyvena ne vien mus pasiekiančiuose laikraščiuose, žurnaluose ar elektroninės žiniasklaidos priemonėse. Spaudos fotografija – tai vaizdu perteiktas pasaulis ir išskirtinė galimybė atsidurti bet kuriame krašte bei pajausti ten esantį gyvenimą tikromis, neperrašytomis emocijomis.
Fotografijų eksponavimas netikėtose erdvėse pasirinktas neatsitiktinai. Sūlome stabtelti ir iš naujo pažvelgti į kasdienį gyvenimą bei mus supančios aplinkos pasiketimus. Atėjo laikas fotografijai išsiveržti iš įprastų ir retai lankomų ar kiek pabodusių erdvių. Introduction of the festival
The Lithuanian Press Photographers Club is presenting a new project – an international photo festival in non-traditional spaces ‘Vilnius Photo Circle’.
It is a festival that reveals the ability of the press photography to live, create and convey ideas, feelings, life and events. By this festival, we want to show that photo narrations are not only capable of existing on their own, without supporting comment or captions, they are also able to carrying much more impressiveness, sensitivity and show the life far better than words. Press photography exists not only in those newspapers, journals or electronic media that reach us. Press photography is a visual expression of the world, an exceptional opportunity to find ourselves in any part of the globe and experience the life there through stark, genuine emotions.
The way of displaying photos in unexpected spaces was not chosen by accident. We invite you to stop and take a new look at the mundane life around us and notice the changes in our environment. The time has come for photography to escape from conventional, not much attended places or slightly boring spaces. We believe that the photo exhibitions that would be accessible to you around the clock will reveal the spirit of the life around us and will show the ever-changing world that is both right here and far away…
